WINDOW written by Jeff Barnes

When you look out your window,Tell me what is it you see .

Can you still feel the sunshine,For the shade of all the trees?

When it feels like your hopes and dreams,Are nowhere to be found.

And when it seems like your everything ,Lies before you on the ground.

You know I’ll be around.

When you look out your window,And the snow is fallin down.

And your heart is feeling heavy,And there’s noone else around.

When it feels like your hopes and dreams ,are nowhere to be found.

And when it seems like your everything, Lies before you on the ground.

You know I’ll be around.

SMALL TOWN AMERICA Written by Jeff Barnes

There’s a simple easy feeling,That comes from living right.

A place where folks believe I god, And say a prayer each night.

It’s a place that you can hang your hat at the end of every day.

And you know your neighbor’s got your back .

And they always speak and wave.

Its just another day ,In SmallTown America.

Ya know It’s just another day , In Small Town America.

Its the same across this nation ,In every little town .

Where the farmer and his tractor ,Are tillin’ up the ground.

There’s a teacher with her daughter,On their way to school.

And there’s a preacher at the alter , That teaches Sunday school.

Its just another day, In Small Town America.

Yea Its just another day in Small Town America.

I’M NOT LISTENING ANYMORE Written by Jeff Barnes

Too many times, I’ve sat and I’ve waited, while you’ve been out all night.

And my heart was aching.

And I was so lonely, I didn’t know what to do.

Now I’m not the only ,one that’s got some hurtin’ to do.

You went and left me,Oh for someone new.

You thought you’d forget me after all that we’ve been through.

Now your finding out,It wasn’t as easy, As walkin’ out that door.

So just keep on talkin’, I’m Not Listening Anymore.

Some lonely night, While your out there all alone.

You’ll turn on the light, And dial up the telephone.

But don’t be surprised,If I don’t answer right away.

My machine will pick up,And here’s what I’ll have to say.

You went and left me , Oh, For someone new.

You thought you’d forget me ,After all that we’ve been through.

But now your finding’ out ,It wasn’t as easy, As walkin’ out that door.

So just keep on talking ,I’m Not Listening Anymore.

Now your finding out ,It wasn’t as easy as walking out that door.

So just keep on talkin’ I’m not listening anymore.

So just keep on talkin’ Im not listening anymore…..

REDNECK LOVESONG Written By Jeff Barnes

Come on baby let’s go for a ride. The sun is shinin’ let’s get in the truck and drive,

Down by the riverside. We’ll take a couple of bottles of homemade wine,

Find a place noone else can find ,Just you and I .We’ll have a heck of a time.

Forget your troubles.Yea we’ll leave em’ all behind.

We’ll make some memories just you and I.

And I’ll sing you a Redneck Lovesong ,

You know I’ll bring my old guitar,And everyone can sing along.

With this Redneck Lovesong. It’s the one that we’ll be singing all night long.

It’s the Redneck Lovesong…

I’ve been waitin’ all week for a moment like this.

Come a little closer I don’t wanna miss a thing, That’s on your mind.

You and me baby were one of a kind. Let’s get together and see what we can find.

Down by the riverside.

Forget your worries ,Yea we’ll leave em’ all behind

We’ll make some memories just you and I.

And I’ll sing you a Redneck Lovesong,

You know I’ll bring my old guitar ,And everyone can sing along.

With this Redneck Lovesong. It’s the one that we’ll be singing all night long.

The Redneck Lovesong.

OTHER SIDE written by Melinda Hall and Jeff Barnes

On the other side, there’s a bright and sunny day.

On the other side, there’s nothing in our way.

On the other side, there’s plenty of time, for everything today.

When the time has finally past. And the way is in plain sight.

I will meet you in the courtyard. We’ll toast daybreak and dance away the night

With a handfull of red roses ,and a bottle full of time.

On the Other Side….

On the other side, there’s a cool and dark blue breeze.

On the other side, on a branch of moon lit leaves.

On the other side, there’s plenty of time, for anything you please.

When the time has finally passed. An the way is in plain site.

I will meet you in the courtyard. We’ll toast daybreak and dance away the night.

With a handfull of red roses, And a bottle full of time.

On the Other Side..

On the Other Side…

HONOR AND LIBERTY written by Jeff Barnes

There’s a lot of people talkin’,about the way it used to be back when.

And how things were so much different, than this world were livin’ in.

And you could say these times are changing,

And that’s the way It’s gotta be.

But the one thing to remember,is that freedom isn’t free.

And we cant forget the ones, that gave it all,

so we could stand here proud and strong.

Where the eagle flies in the skies, from sea to shining sea,

And our flag is still flown everyday, with honor and liberty.

Someone’s husband ,someone’s wife,

Fights for honor and a way of life tonight.

Every second that passes in time,They lay their lives out on

The line each night.

And you could say these times are changing,

And that’s the way its gotta be. But the one thing to remember,

Is that freedom Is’nt free .

And we cant forget the ones, That gave it all.

So we could stand here proud and strong.

Where the eagle flies in the sky ,from sea to shining sea.

And our flag is still flown everyday.

With honor and liberty.

EVERYTHING Written by Jeff Barnes

So many days, so many nights, it seemed I lost my way.

I couldn’t see the light.

I was drowning in an ocean, of borrowed time.

Searching for an answer, waiting on a sign.

All this wasted time. Running round in circles in my mind.

Just to find in time, love was right there in front of me

All of the time.

And now I see, Your everything to me.

When you came to me, it was like a sunny day,

Seemed to move the clouds out of the way.

You drew me in, with a guiding light .

Like a lighthouse on a stormy night.

All this wasted time, running round in circles in my mind

Just to find in time. You were right there in front of me

all of the time.

And now I see, your everything to me.

And now I see , your everything to me.

JUST WHERE YOU ARE Written by Jeff Barnes

It’s another postcard morning, but I must be on my way .

Ya see out there somewhere she’s waiting & I really cant be late.

So ya know I must be goin’, It’s great to see you again.

But I hear her voice is callin’, She’s callin’ in the wind.

Cause I’ve been adrift out on this water.

And I’ve been following the stars.

I’ll just keep sailing till I find out, just where you are.

Just where you are.

It’s another postcard sunset, and though I made good time all day,

The wind has up and left me, and the sun has sank away.

But tomorrow I’ll keep searchin’ for what I did not find.

And I’ll dream tonight about her, You know she’s always on my mind.

Cause I’ve been adrift out on this water.

And I’ve been following the stars.

I’ll just keep sailing till I find out, just where you are.

Cause I’ve been adrift out on this water.

And I’ve been following the stars.

I’ll just keep sailing till I find out, just where you are.

Just where you are.

HERE WITH ME Written by Jeff Barnes

It’s a long way to Tennessee ,from where I am tonight.

But that don’t seem to bother me.

I don’t need no Music Row, or my name in lights,

As long as I’ve got you here with me.

Here with me ,It’ll always be , a bright and sunny day.

Here with me , where your laughter, chase the blues away.

And nothing else seems to matter, as far as I can see.

As long as I have you here with me.

There are hundreds of restless hearts, in your hometown tonight.

All of them have hopes and dreams.

And you know they’d like to see them come to life,

With someone like I have here with me.

Here with me, It’ll always be a bright and sunny day.

Here with me , where your laughter chase the blues away.

And nothing else seems to matter, As far as I can see.

As long as I’ve got you here with me.

IF I COULD Written by Jeff Barnes

One more night and I’m alone, just like the night before.

Another faded memory of you, walkin’ out the door.

Although we went our separate ways, I still think of you sometimes.

I cant erase those memories , no I cant go back In time.

But if I could, I would do things a little different.

But if I could, I’d try to make you change your mind.

If I could, I would have given you the world.

If I could, I would have never said goodbye.

You know It’s been a long , long time,

But it seems like yesterday .You and I we said goodbye ,

And we turned another page.

Do you ever look back, and stop to wonder why,

Things turned out the way they did between you and I ?

Sometimes the path we take seems like the only one in sight.

But I’d trade the choice I made ,each and every night.

If I could , I would do things a little different .

If I could, I’d try to make you change your mind.

If I could, I would have given you the world.

If I could , I would have never said goodbye.

If I could……………

GONE AWHILE Written by Jeff Barnes

When she woke , this morning.

She could still hear his last goodbye’s.

And as she walked past the gardens.

She could feel the cold stare of his eyes.

It was only , five years come Monday.

When she heard , the sound that day.

And it rang through the mountains like thunder.

And she knew , he was gone to stay.

He said I may be gone for awhile, as he hurried out the door

And all she could do is wave and smile,

As her heart lay on the floor.

In the night, she still dreams about him.

As the full moon is on the rise.

And there they dance , like there’s no tomorrow.

Till at last she opens her eyes.

He said I may be gone for awhile, as he hurried out the door

And all she could do is wave and smile,

As her heart lay on the floor.

GOTTA POOP Written by Jeff Barnes

I went to a resturant to get myself a bite.

The sign said all that you can eat cause it was buffet night.

They had a soup and salad bar and they kept the place real neat.

And a bunch of homemade apple pies that would knock you off your feet.

The waitress said if that is all I’ll bring you the check.

I said ok and paid my way and my stomach was a wreck.

And about that time it hit me.And I went to my knees.

And all I thought was oh my god,let me make it to the restroom please.

I knew I shouldn’t eat it ,all that was on my plate.

And I’m sure those people knew it , by the look upon my face.

It could have been the salad , or it could have been the soup.

All I really know is I gotta Poop…

Sittin’ down to dinner & everything was fine.

Doublecheese bacon burger and a side order of fries.

But on my way back to the house.

I got a pain down inside. I hurried back and went on in ,

Cause I felt like I would die.

I knew I shouldn’t eat it , all that was on my plate.

And I’m sure those people knew it by the look upon my face.

It could have been the salald , or it could have been the soup.

All I really know is I gotta poop.

I went to a bar-b-q . we had chicken ribs and dogs.

We were really piggin’ out, and eatin’ just like hogs.

Then I started feelin’ funny and I knew what I’d have to do.

Cause all that food and ice cold beer was passin’ right on through.

I knew I shouldn’t eat it , all that was on my plate.

And I’m sure those people knew it by the look upon my face.

It could have been the salad, or it could have been the soup.

All I really know is I gotta poop.

All I really know is I gotta poop.
